Bethany Frowein, Senior Solicitor
Bethany joined the litigation team at Goodman Tavendale Reid at the beginning of 2007.
Bethany has acted for local authorities in relation to the enforcement of a wide range of regulatory legislation including the Local Government Act, Building Act, Resource Management Act Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act, Dog Control Act, Fencing of Swimming Pools Act, Food Hygiene Regulations and Trade Waste Bylaw.
In addition to bringing prosecutions under these pieces of legislation, she provides advice in relation to the other, various statutory compliance tools that are available to local authorities.
She has also acted for defendants in relation to regulatory prosecutions under the Resource Management Act and Health and Safety in Employment Act.
In addition to Local Government compliance and enforcement matters, Bethany also advises on a range of civil matters including construction disputes, leaky buildings, debt recovery and insurance matters.
She has successfully represented clients in the Courts and has been involved in mediations and alternative dispute resolution.
