Michael Singleton, Director
Michael joined Goodman Tavendale Reid in 2007 after having spent the last ten years practising in the financial services sector in London, where he headed up a specialist legal team within one of the largest global financial institutions.
His practice comprises corporate and commercial law, with particular emphasis on commercial contracts, mergers and acquisitions, insolvency and restructurings, banking and finance, securities law and regulatory matters. He advises financial institutions and other corporate entities and has particular expertise in structured financial transactions, securities, derivatives and capital markets.
Michael has sat on a number of committees and working groups of organisations including the Bank of England and International Swaps and Derivatives Association and was involved in an extensive regulatory and criminal investigation by the US Department of Justice into tax shelters.
